Frankie Fox's new coat

🦊🧥🦊🧥🦊🧥🦊🧥🦊

In Foxes group we have been talking about when Frankie Fox likes to go out hunting. One child told us that Frankie is 'nocturnal.' Another child explained to us all "that means he sleeps in the day and is awake at night." Another child said "he looks for his dinner at night time."

We talked about how we can make sure Frankie stays safe in the dark when he is hunting. We had a think about what colours he should wear so that cars are able to see him if he walks across the road at night. We helped to decorate Frankie's new coat. We used a torch to pretend a car was shining and investigated different materials. We noticed that some materials were shimmery when the torch light shined on them. We stuck these onto his coat. We then put Frankie into the dark den to test to see if his coat reflected light.
