Investigating ice

This morning the Nursery children found lots of ice on the outdoor climbing equipment. We decided to investigate. Lots of wonderful vocabulary used by the children to describe what they could see and feel.

"It's slippery and it's going to crack. That means it's going to melt."

" Its soo cold. It's gonna melt. The sun make it melt." 

"That is cold and wet."

"It's cracking." 

"We got to stay safe 'cos it's very dangerous and we could slip."
