Monday 1st February Home Learning

Date: 29th Jan 2021 @ 2:05pm

Good morning,

This week is children's mental health week. Take time this week to do activities that you love to do - do some art, have a dance, make something in the kitchen, spend some time talking to the other people in your house, go outside for a walk!

Here is a video about why we are thinking about our mental health this week: https://www.tentenresources.co.uk/children-mental-health-week/

Here are your home learning activities for today:

1. Maths - Watch the short Maths video and then practised making your own patterns. Don't forget to post them on tapestry!

2. P.E. - This week, City Play who come into school to do P.E. lessons have sent us a link for a P.E. lesson you can do at home. See if you can follow Coach Jack and his different activities based around The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The video is on Tapestry.

Here are some links for you to do some exercise at home. It's really important that we keep active even when we're learning from home. During mental health week why don't you try a different activity every day. Which one is your favourite?

Phonics
You have each been assigned one phonics video for each day this week on a new Tapestry memo and observation. Please access the phonics video for the phase you have been working on.
