Pumpkin Soup

We have been reading the story of Pumpkin Soup by Helen Cooper. We had a pumpkin in our investigation area and we enjoyed exploring the different textures. It was slimy inside and hard on the outside.

In our Literacy Lesson we retold the story using lots of different things. We made a story map and we retold the story by acting out the important scenes. We used headbands and props to help us. Finally, we sequenced the story using pictures from the book.

We made a story map to help us retell the story too.
