Y3S launched our new topic for this term this week, all about Scavengers from the Stone Age and Settlers up to the Iron Age! We imagined what some of the earliest people would have lived like, and how they would have lived. We went over to the woods, and we started by building some Stone Age shelters to keep us out of the rain. We then thought about how we could keep warm, and made our own fires. Next, it was time to eat, and we scavenged around for some lovely food - berries, deer, rabbits, plants, nuts, seeds and eggs. Finally, we learnt that the earliest people would not have been able to talk, so we came up with our own Stone Age sign language and cave drawings. What a fun morning!

Welcome to Mount Carmel RC Primary; a place where we proclaim Christ’s message of hope and celebrate the uniqueness of each child.
