The Naughty Bus has arrived

Yesterday, Reception classes had a lovely surprise. Somebody had delivered a present for them! It was a special pass the parcel present so we went into the hall and played pass the parcel.

Each layer gave us a clue for what might be inside. The first clue said "It is big." but the present was only small. The second clue said "I am red." We started to guess what might be inside. The final clue said "I can go fast." We kept on guessing until we unwrapped the final layer. It was a lovely red bus!

Suddenly, the bus started moving and dragged Mrs Walley out of the hall and out of the school! We were very worried and wondered what we could do. We suggested following the tracks of the bus to find it and Miss Dennis. Then, Mrs Walley came back into the hall but she looked very shocked and sad. She had mud on her face and sticks in her hair! She told us that the bus had dragged her through a hedge and disappeared up the road. We knew we couldn't follow the bus but we looked around school for clues to help us find it.
