Literacy Topic: The BFG

In literacy for the past three weeks, we have explored wirting in two different text types. The first two weeks, we prepared to write a diary recount pretending to be Sophie as she was snatched by the giant. We explored how we could describe the giant by using noun phrases, how he acted by using interesting verbs and adverb openers. (Photos to follow). Next we are exploring features of instructional writing and preparing to create a set of instructions for how to catch a dream. (Photos of written compositions to follow).
