Lesson: Understanding the World

This week we investigated lots of different materials and decided if they were shiny or not shiny, we used a torch to help us decide. The children used lots of super vocabulary to describe the look and feel of the fabrics and did some great sorting too. Next we made Francis and Harry a new jacket. We tested to see if the materials we had chosen reflected light. Now Francis and Harry will be safe during their nocturnal adventures!
