Lesson: Art and design
Class: Year 1L Year: 2018 - 2019
Year 1 have studied the work of Vincent Van Gogh. We read the book ‘Camille and the Sunflowers’ to find out about Vincent’s life. Inspired by his work, we then created our own sunflower pictures. In our first lesson, we used pencils to sketch sunflowers. In our second lesson, we used oil pastels to create our own picture based on Vincent’s work. What fantastic artists we are!
