Anti-Bullying Week 2023

We started Anti-Bullying Week on Monday with an assembly for the infants and a school full of vibrant odd socks! On Tuesday, KS2 also had an assembly with the focus of making a noise about bullying. We have learnt about what we can do if we see bullying and looked at ways to show kindness to ourselves and others. We will take part in more activities throughout the week as we work towards making our school and the world a kinder place.

Classes in KS2 have worked together to create some beautiful poems and these were shared in assembly on Friday afternoon. In KS1, the children created some beautiful odd socks to show that they are each unique and that should be celebrated. Children across the school also had a great experience using 'Now Press Play' where the children were placed into a story around bullying which allowed them to think about potential actions in this scenario.
