Trip to Manchester

This morning we had an amazing trip to Manchester. We went on the bus and visited Pizza Express, where we learned how to make a pizza. We had a go at twirling and throwing pizzas. We found out all about the different ingredients found in a pizza and we learned that the very first pizzas were made in Egypt. After we had made our pizzas, we sat by the fountains to eat them.

We then went on a walk to look for Manchester landmarks to tie in with our Geography work. We saw Manchester Cathedral, the National Football Museum, the Corn Exchange and the Printworks. We looked for the worker bee symbol. We will use these after half term in our Art work.

We had a fantastic morning.
