What the Ladybird Heard

This half term we have been reading the What the Ladybird Heard stories by Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks. We read What the Ladybird Heard at the Seaside and retold the story using the pictures.

We wrote our own story about what the ladybird might hear on her next adventure. We made a storyboard for What the Ladybird Heard in Space! We had characters including aliens and space fairies and set our story on Mars. Of course, Lanky Len and Hefty Hugh were up to their old tricks but the ladybird was always one step ahead and managed to trick them again!
