As part of our Moving People topic, we studied the book, "The Silence Seeker," by Ben Morley. This beautiful picture book relates the story of Joe and the Silence Seeker. When Joe misunderstands the words, "Asylum Seeker,” he embarks on a new friendship that lasts just one day. The impact of Joe’s tiny acts of kindness on the Silence Seeker are incredible.
