Baptism

In R.E. this afternoon, Foxes have been learning about Baptism. We looked at photographs of some of our actual Baptisms and then we dressed our baby in the christening gown and shawl that Mrs Flanagan wore when she was Baptised. We then role played a Baptism with our baby. The children were so good at taking on the roles of mummy, daddy, godparents and priest. We practised saying the words that the priest says as he blesses the baby and pours holy water over it's head.
