School Uniform
At Mount Carmel, we pride ourselves on our dress code and believe that doing so develops a sense of belonging. Children are required to wear school uniform and the co-operation of parents is sought in maintaining high standards of dress.
The school sweatshirt and cardigan can be bought through the School Trends Website (click link) and Ziggys Schoolwear in Harpurhey Shopping Centre. School ties for children in the Junior Department will be given to them in September. Additional ties can be purchased through the Junior Office on Parent Pay.

Jewellery, Make-Up and Nail Varnish
-
Small plain stud earrings and watches are the only jewellery permitted in school. Smart watches are not allowed. Earrings should not be worn for school on days when your child has PE. This is for health and safety reasons. We strongly recommend that children get their ears pierced during the summer holidays.
-
Make up and nail varnish should not be worn to school unless for an out of school hours function, for example a school disco or a show.
