Black History Month

In October during Black History Month, Reception have been learning all about the American Gymnast Simone Biles. She became the first female U.S gymnast to win 4 gold medals in the 2016 Rio De Janerio Olympics.
The children watched in awe as we played a video of Simone in action, with lots claiming "I can do that!" After watching Simone, the children took part in some ribbon work, learning about the importance of warming up our bodies and stretching. We then made our very own gold medals.
