Black History Month

Last week, we came together to share the work we completed over October as part of Black History Month. Each year group has learnt about a signficant figure, taking inspiration from the work they did. Additionally, Mr Dalton introduced a unit of work on anti-racism which we will be continuing in class as part of our PSHE lessons in the coming weeks. In our school, all are welcome and we stand up for what is right. Our children are very clear on what racism is, why it is wrong and what they can do to combat racism. Please ask your children about the work they have been completing in class.
