Colour all around us!

🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈

On Tuesday we launched our new topic in Nursery. The children came into school dressed in their favourite colours and we created our own rainbow. We learned the song "I can sing a rainbow" and did lots of colour sorting activities. 
 

We also learned all about Bonfire night and colours that can be dangerous.  Foxes and Hegdehogs then worked in groups to create their own Jackson Pollack inspired splatter paintings to represent fireworks.

We listened to the sounds of fireworks exploding into the night sky and came up with our own body movements to accompany the sounds. We even made up our own firework movements to Katy Perry's 'Fireworks' song!
