Friday 15th January Home Learning
Date: 13th Jan 2021 @ 2:49pm
Good morning Reception,
Here are your home learning activities for today. Keep posting to Tapestry and let us know if there are any issues.
1. Maths - can you make a super number line using all the skills we have been practising? First, can you practise writing numbers 1-10. Then, put the numbers in the correct order. Now, match the numicon pieces to each number. If you have time, can you find groups of objects for each number e.g. 5 spoons, 9 teddy bears.
Challenge: can you make the number line go all the way to 20?
2. Literacy - Watch the video of the story about The Dinosaur Who Lost His Roar. What was your favourite part?
3. Phase 3 Phonics - watch the phase 3 phonics video on new sound 'or'.

4. PSE - We have been thinking about some of our class rules, and why looking after each other is so important. There are also lots of toys and equipment in Reception, and I’m sure you have plenty of toys at home. Why is it important that we look after things and put them away afterwards? Think about your favourite toy…what do you do to make sure it’s safe? How would you feel if it broke or you lost it? Talk to a grown up about how you can help to take care of things around your house.
Extra Activity:
We're exploring mixing colours in school - see if you have anything around the house to explore what happens when we mix colours together.
