GIFT Team Fundraising

The Growing in Faith Together team at Mount Carmel has been actively involved in supporting the community and raising awareness about important causes. Since September, the team has participated in three fundraising initiatives, with their most recent project being a Christmas campaign focused on supporting individuals experiencing homelessness.

The team collected essential items such as socks, hats, scarves and toiletries to help those in need. To encourage participation, the children organised a 'wear your own clothes day' and created posters to share with the school community. The families responded generously, contributing much-needed items for the cause.

The team also dedicated a late evening at school to sort the donations and create Christmas cards, which will be distributed to people at Cornerstones during the festive period, spreading joy and support to those who need it most. The evening concluded with a special dinner, where the children and staff gathered to relax and celebrate their hard work together.
