Growth and Change

In RE, Reception are learning about spring: growth and change. Today we planted some cress seeds, watered them and placed them in the window. We discussed what the seeds would need to grow and the children agreed on: water, light and warmth. We have also put one pot of seeds in the cupboard and we are not watering another pot of seeds. The children have predicted that the seeds that have not been watered will not grow because they need water and the seeds in the cupboard will not grow because they need light to help them grow.

We are excited to watch our seeds grow and change and to try some of our cress!
