Hello Friends

Hello, Friends!

In literacy, we have read the book, 'Hello, Friend!' The children have learnt about different feelings. Some children have amazed us by explaining,using because, why they felt a certain way. We have been practising writing our names this week and will continue to work on our letter formation over the coming weeks. 

In phonics, we have revisited the phonemes: s, a, t, p from last week. This week we have learnt the new phonemes: i, n, m, d. 

In mathematics, we have counted by chanting numbers in order to 10 and have counted objects into sets. We have been matching written numerals to sets of objects and matching the spoken numeral to sets.

In R.E., we have been learning that God loves us and knows us by name.
