Leaf Man

Today our Reception classes went on an Autumn walk to find Leaf Man!!

Our class text has been 'Leaf Man' and we have been learning about the changes that happen during Autumn. 

During our walk we saw the leaves falling from the trees, blowing away in the wind and we chanted 'A Leaf Man goes wherever the wind blows.' We used our listening ears to hear the wind blowing and found some beautiful crisp leaves to make our very own leaf men. We saw lots of Leaf Mans friends scattered on the ground, under the trees. We found leaves to use for Leaf mans body parts including his head, arms, legs and tummy! We even tried to catch the falling leaves but it was very tricky.
