Lots of Christmas Fun in Reception
Date: 13th Dec 2020 @ 12:01pm
This week we have been very busy! We have been filming our Nativity, singing our songs together and recording our different lines. We have practised very hard and our Nativity looks amazing now!
We have been using our fine motor skills to practise wrapping presents in time for Christmas. We worked together to use the wrapping paper and sellotape to cover the different boxes. It was lots of fun and very messy! At the end of the day, we worked as a team to tidy up all the paper from the floor. We worked calmly and happily.
In R.E. This week we remembered how Christmas Day is Jesus' birthday. We talked about how we celebrate birthdays and then made some beautiful birthday cards for Jesus. We also lit the second candle on our Advent Wreath and sang the second verse of 4 Bright Candles.
Outside on Friday we had lots of fun playing on the climbing frame, building using the different resources, playing on the obstacle course and exploring the mud using the different cards. We worked together to build a hideout. We took turns playing on different sections of the climbing frame. We shared the cars so that we could all have a turn.
