Poetry and Rights Respecting Schools Day

Date: 24th Mar 2025 @ 5:10pm

We had a great day on Friday for our Poetry and Rights Respecting Schools Day. We started with Collective Worship and then started to think about Articles 28 and 29 - our right to education and the aims of education. We discussed our ideas and made posters to show our best ever day in school and then we devised a timetable for our perfect school day. We had lots of fun learning the poem Please Mrs Butler by Alan Ahlberg. We made up some actions to help us and performed in front of the school in the afternoon.
