What a reverent way to remember all those who have died as a result of war! Following our Junior Assembly in church, led by our Chaplincy Group, Year 6 spent some time contemplating the significance of the Pieta as part of our Parish War Memorial. It was a humbling experience reading the list of names of parishioners who died serving in the World Wars, and praying for them in the very benches they sat in before they went to war.
