Remembrance Day 2021

On Remembrance Day this year, Y6 led the ceremony to remember all those lost in war. 

They laid a wreath on the Parish War Memorial and spent time in quiet contemplation and prayer.

In the afternoon, one of our parents, Mr. Coogan, who is a teacher from a high school in Tottingham, came to talk to Y6 about a specific soldier in World War One.  He showed us his letters and his soldier's small book, which was found in the middle of No Man's Land, and still bears the marks from the soil there. 

Mr. Coogan made the talk fascinating and memorable.  Thank you.
