R.U.D.E Workshop

Today, our Year 5 and 6 children had the privilege of participating in Dean Coady’s engaging workshop, “We’re not rude, we’re R.U.D.E.” (Respectful, Understanding, Dangers (from the street), Equality). In this workshop, children were encouraged to speak honestly about their knowledge of these areas and Dean talked about what is acceptable in keeping with community and school values. The children looked at some street-based dangers and were given some clear direction of how they can recognise and respond to potentially harmful situations. Additionally, they explored equality and the celebration of our diverse community.
