St Patrick's Day

On St. Patrick's Day, Reception learnt that St. Patrick is the Patron Saint of Ireland and he stayed on the holy mountain of Croagh Patrick in County Mayo for 40 days, fasting just like Jesus. Mrs Coogan told her class she has hiked up Croagh Patrick a few times with her husband and her children. We said the prayer of St. Patrick's Breastplate and learnt the actions.
