The Nativity Story

This week we have been learning about the Nativity Story. In our Literacy lesson we acted our the story using the character headbands.

At the beginning of the story, Angel Gabriel came to Mary and told her she was going to have a special baby.

Mary and Joseph had to go to Bethlehem to be counted, but when they got there, there was no room anywhere. An innkeeper told Mary and Joseph they could stay in the stable. Mary laid baby Jesus in a manger.

Angels visited some shepherds and told them about the baby Jesus. They went to Bethlehem to visit Him.

A special star appeared in the sky. Three Wise Men followed the star to Bethlehem. They brought Jesus gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
