The Odd Egg
On Monday we had a shocking discover! An odd egg was left in our book corner. We don't know where it has come from or how it got there.

The children have been busy making their predictions about what they think might be in the egg. 
A penguin? A duckling? A dinosaur?

We just don't know!

We decided to put it in the curiosity cube to watch it more closely. The children have been thinking about how to look after the egg. They decided we should keep the egg warm so it will hatch. They are making sure we are really quiet around the egg because we don't want to scare the baby that is inside.

The children went outside to look for clues. We think we found footprints! Mrs Walley saw something flying through the sky.
