This week, Year 6 embarked on a trip to Quarry Bank Mill as part of an introduction to our history topic next half term. They learnt about mill life, the rapid improvements in technology as well as what it was like to be an apprentice. The day has left the children keen to learn more and full of questions about the Industrial Revolution and its impact on our lives today.
