Wednesday 24th February Home Learning
Date: 24th Feb 2021 @ 8:02am
Good morning,
This half term, we are thinking about space, so we will be looking at different books about space and learning about the planets and our solar system.
Here are your home learning activities for today:
Literacy - Draw a picture of what you think Beegu's home planet looks like. Are there tall buildings? Are there trees? Is there a beach? What do you think?
R.E. - Today we are thinking about Ash Wednesday. Ash Wednesday is the day at the start of Lent. It happened last week during half term so we are going to learn about it now. Have a think about what you can remember from Ash Wednesday last year. Father Anthony came to school and put the special ashes on your head in the shape of a cross. Have a look at the presentation all about Ash Wednesday. Spend a moment thinking about what you are going to try and do during Lent to be more like Jesus.
