World Book Day 2025

We're all ready and excited to take part in World Book Day today. We have lots of great activities planned so scheck back throughout the day for more updates.

Weenjoyed the Footy and Booky Quiz with lots of questions about football and books. Did you know the mouse told the owl that the Gruffalo liked Owl ice cream? Or that Lionel Messi scored most of his goals with his left foot? We had questions read by authors and footballer and even had a question asked by Joshua Zirkzee from Manchester United.

We enjoyed listening to Michael Rosen read a selection of his poems before lunch.

We have started our Ultimate Character Battle. So far Dogman is winning the battle but we have some more characters challenging.

In the afternoon, we are watching an interview with the author of the Bumble and Snug books, Mark Bradley. He read some of his Angry Pirate book to us and then showed us how to create our own BugBots.
