Y3S STONE AGE TOPIC LAUNCH!

To launch our new topic Scavengers and Settlers, we became Stone Age people for the day! 

We had the chance to go the woods and we thought about what Stone Age people might need to do in their lives. We started by working as a team and making shelters. We then ade imaginary fires to keep our shelters warm, and next it was time to get some food! We found out Stone Age people used to forage for food, finding nuts and berries, and we also did a bit of hunting for animals. We finished by thinking about ways to communicate as Stone Age people could not talk, so we drew some pictures and acted out some scenarios.
