Y6Valley’s Adventures at Robinwood
Date: 13th Feb 2020 @ 7:00pm
Y6 adventures at Robinwood were extraordinary this week! The weather was bitterly cold, with ferocious icy winds and torrential downpours of hail stones, snow and sleet...but the weather didn’t prevent us from having a marvellous time. The support, courage and teamwork displayed by Y6 was exemplary. We challenged ourselves to try new activities on water canoeing and avoiding the “piranha” in a race against time. We scaled new heights flying down zip wires, reaching for a trapeze bar and being flung high up into the air in a giant swing. Our problem solving and communication skills were incredible working our way out of the dungeons, tracking blindfolded through the night line and on quests striving to be the first to raise the flag in the tower. Team building was crucial when balancing and communicating with others building towers of crates and working out way through the caves. Focus and fun were necessary when using archery to learn new skills and hit the bulls eye! What an incredible three days!
