Museum of Science and Industry Space trip

Year 5 visited the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry, where we got to experience science hands on.

We saw the British astronaut- Tim Peak's- spacesuit and the capsule that brought him safely back to earth. 

We got to go around the Air and Space, and train galleries. Our favourite was the Experiment! interactive gallery, where we got to test all sorts of scientific theories in many magnificently fun ways!

The absolute highlight of the trip, however, was going to space school. At space school we watched explosions of hydrogen balloons and set water and oxygen balloons on fire!!
