Katherine Johnson

As part of Black History Month, Y6CC researched the life of Katherine Johnson.  She was a famous mathematician from America who pioneered careers for women at NASA. Her contributions to the world of maths and space exploration had a huge impact on the success of spaceflights and communications.

We were so motivated by her example, that we wrote letters to her describing how she has inspired us.
