Year 5 have completed their exciting art unit focused on the renowned potters Clarice Cliff and Josiah Wedgwood. After studying their unique styles and techniques, the children applied what they learned by crafting their own pottery pieces inspired by these famous artists. They explored design elements like shape, color, and decoration, resulting in beautiful, handmade pottery that reflects both Cliff’s vibrant patterns and Wedgwood’s classic elegance. This project was a wonderful way for students to celebrate and honor British pottery traditions while expressing their own creativity!
