Firework art
Lesson: EYFS
This week we have been talking about fireworks. We watched a virtual fireworks display and talked about what we could see and hear. We then looked at some splatter paintings created by the artist Jackson Pollack and talked about how they look like fireworks. The children then worked in small groups to create their own splatter paintings using lots of bright colours. It was so much fun and a little messy!
The children also enjoyed creating their own representations of fireworks using transient art objects. Lots of concentration and fine motor skills were at work!
