Worry Angels

In class recently, Year 3J have been exploring their emotional literacy in our English topic through a book titled, "My Monster and Me." Naturally with the theme of worries and anxiety playing a big part in our world today, we decided to link it in with our trust in God and created our own little Worry Angels to talk, pray or write to, whenever we need to. The children then took them home, so that they could talk to them at any time of the day or write a prayer to them.
In class, we have a worry basket and notepads, with a worry angel stone placed on our altar so that when in school, we can talk to our Guardian Angel looking after us.
