Making a Model House

Lesson: Design and technology

Class: Year 4L Year: 2024 - 2025

Year 4  children have been combining creativity with science in their latest project—making model houses equipped with electrical circuits! They designed and built their own miniature houses, and then used their understanding of circuits to install working lights and other electrical features. This hands-on project not only enhanced their design skills but also deepened their understanding of how electricity flows and powers everyday items in a home. The final creations showcased both imagination and technical know-how, making for an exciting and educational experience!
