My Monster and Me - Nadia Hussein

At the beginning of the term, Y3J explored our emotions and developed our emotional literacy in the book, "My Monster and Me," by Nadia Hussein. In this literacy unit, we made predictions, described the monster, created our own Monster descriptions by writing about what he looks like and how he acts. We even wrote about the things he gets up to and how he makes us feel. After, we explored how we could make our worry monsters smaller ready for writing our very own Monster story books.
